In-Shape Health Clubs announced that is has acquired all five of the Millennium Sports Club’s full-service locations in Vacaville, Fairfield, Vallejo, Shingle Springs and Merced, Calif. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“This is an exciting time for In-Shape!,” said Paul Rothbard, In-Shape’s CEO, in a press release. “We are thrilled to welcome the Millennium clubs to our family. We’re fortunate to enhance the options that we offer our members by adding these premium clubs to our network.”
According to Michelle Clark, the vice president of marketing for In-Shape, In-Shape is working hard to make the transition for Millennium members and employees as smooth as possible. “Right now, we are doing a member survey in all the clubs to find out how we’re doing, what we need to improve upon, and what we’re doing well,” said Clark. “We are also hoping to retain all the Millennium employees.”
Currently, Millennium members can visit other area In-Shape club locations, free of charge. In-Shape members will have to upgrade their membership in order to visit the newly acquired Millennium locations.
