Do you set daily goals for your club or do you come into the club thinking, “We’re going to get what we can get today.” Everyone needs a daily goal. Having a daily sales goal gives us set appointments for the day. I use the rule of halves. I would agree that we want to be better than half, but half is bottom of the zone for goals.
If you have a daily goal of four sales today, how many appointments do you need on the books? Do you need six or 12? How about 16 set appointments for the day. It’s the rule of halves. Sixteen appointments will generate eight guests. Eight guests will generate four new sales for the day. You might be thinking, what about my walk-ins for the day? We need to start everyday like there is not going to be one person walking through that door on their own.
We need to create new members, not sit and wait for them to magically appear in the club. Set a goal today and do everything to reach that goal!
