One of the more difficult aspects to working out is sticking to the routine. For six months, it might be easy to grab a quick workout at lunch or in the morning before work or class. However, there will surely be that day when something more enjoyable comes into your life and throws you off your routine.
When your regular workout routine gets interrupted by other aspects of your life, it can be the beginning of a slippery slope that puts an end to your club usage altogether.
To avoid such a situation, try changing your routine from time to time, for no reason.
If you are able to hit the gym for 30 minutes after work one day, go for it. If you wake up early and can’t go back to sleep, head to the gym for some quick cardio — shower, get ready then grab a shake at the front desk to get your day off right.
By varying your workout routine you will notice other free areas in your life where a workout can be inserted. It will keep you on track and help give you that healthy lifestyle you’ve always wanted.
