Launched at IHRSA 30, used at the 34th annual NSCA convention by JC Santana and Felix Doval with guest performances from the “Bartendaz,” the SBT Extreme is the latest in Suspended Body Weight Training. This advanced suspension system can safely support a minimum weight of 732 lbs. while testing out at a maximum tested strength of 1,800 lbs. The SBT Extreme consists of one, short or long attachment anchor strap, and two independent arms constructed of the highest quality heavyweight polypropylene with one and a half inch thickness. Its independent arm construction and stainless steel ring attachment system make it a safe and reliable tool with minimal wear and tear that can be used efficiently for both beginners and athletes. Additionally, the SBT Extreme boasts a human-movement, friendly-ankle and foot cradle that allows the user to perform a multitude of lower-body focused movements in a comfortable and secure environment.
SBT was founded in April of 2010, after 18 months of research and development from a three dimensional angle. “Our focus as a company, based on education, was to provide the fitness professional with a tool that is safer and more versatile than anything on the current market,” said Felix Doval, the CEO and Director of Education for SBT. Doval is the president of Global Fitness Educators and also the Director of Workshops for the NFPT — one of only 12 nationally accredited and recognized certifying bodies around the world — and has spent the last 10 years educating fitness professionals.
