24 Hour Fitness will hold the grand opening of its new location at 6345 Commerce Blvd. in Rohnert Park, Calif. this Saturday, February 11 at 6 a.m. A ribbon cutting ceremony proclaiming the day “Healthy Rohnert Park Day” will be held at 11 a.m. with Rohnert Park Vice Mayor Pam Stafford.
“We think Rohnert Park is a great location for our brand,” said Leeann Wiebe, the 24 Hour Fitness district manager who oversaw the project. “We want fitness to be accessible. Rohnert Park is a great location for that.”
The grand opening will allow community members to receive VIP tours of the facility and sample Group X classes such as Zumba®, Les Mills BODYPUMP® and RPM®. “The club has been really anticipated by the community,” said Wiebe. Community members have had the ability of pre-registering for memberships on-site and online.
John-Paul Scirica, the club manager of the new location, will oversee 60 members of staff and a variety of amenities and services, including TRX® Suspension Training, an outdoor lap pool, steam room and sauna, and Kid’s Club babysitting for children ages six months to 12 years old.
“We’re really excited to invite anyone in the community and surrounding areas to come to the event,” said Wiebe.
