The recently launched six-hour instructor training covers the Ugi philosophy and medicine ball history, functional fitness science, training principles for weight loss, fitness and performance, exercise variation and class design, programming techniques and strategies, and modifications for all populations. In training, instructors will learn how to teach more than 100 exercises using the Ugi ball, incorporate the Ugi ball with other pieces of exercise equipment, create customized sessions for groups and individuals and lead a full 30-minute Ugi workout using effective cueing techniques.
