UFC Gym has appointed Hannibal Myers as the president of its franchise division. According to the company, Myers will play an integral role in developing the overall franchise strategy for UFC Gym to capitalize on opportunities in the health and fitness marketplace.
“This decision launches a new era in the business for UFC Gym, developing further opportunities for growth and expansion through the leadership of Hannibal Myers,” said Jim Rowley, the CEO of NEV, in a statement.
Myers has substantial franchise experience with companies such as Taco Bell, KFC, Seattle’s Best Coffee, Quizno’s and Shoney’s. As president of the franchise division, Myers will oversee all facets of franchise development, strategy, marketing, operations and finances.
Myers’ promotion follows the recent promotion of Adam Sedlack to president of UFC Gym’s corporate division.
Over the past year, UFC Gym has begun converting over 80 of the LA Boxing locations it acquired in January 2013 to UFC Gyms. As a result, the MMA franchise boasts 100 locations worldwide.
According to UFC Gym, Myers will be instrumental in capitalizing on additional opportunities for the MMA franchise to grow.
