A pioneering brand in functional training equipment, Marpo Kinetics has come out with its latest creative take on group workouts and integrative training.
Making its public debut at the IHRSA convention and trade show in San Diego this March, the VMX Three60 is Marpo’s first multi-user functional training system. To complement the VMX Three60, Marpo has also developed the Three60 Training Series. A collaboration of experienced master trainers, the Three60 Training series offers a comprehensive training protocol to be used with VMX Three60.
Using sets of three 60-second work periods as the building blocks of workouts and programs, the Three60 series combines functional movements with varied speeds and workloads to emphasize endurance, strength, power or a combination of all three.
Select gyms have piloted the VMX Three60 and held Three60 Training classes with great success. “The Three60 Rope Training series has improved the efficiency in which we are able to run groups of 4 to 6 clients through training,” said Tim Rich, the fitness manager at Crunch in Blackhawk, Calif. “Setting up stations with the exercises taught in the program have proved invaluable for intensity and excitement.”
The training series is a first for Marpo Kinetics. “We wanted to ensure that the message of versatility and functionality was fully realized,” said Mike Cole, the director of education for Marpo Kinetics. “These machines are unique in that, once people try it they’re hooked and are excited for more, but to see the full range of exercises that you can accomplish, a training model needed to be created.”
Marpo representatives are excited to present their latest innovation at the IHRSA show and will be performing demos and workshops throughout the day. To learn more or register at a workshop, visit http://www.eventbrite.com/o/mike-cole-3241732386?s=21834507.
