The insurance is designed specifically to meet the individual needs of personal trainers, yoga and Pilates instructors, group fitness coaches, indoor cycling instructors and more. Recognizing the unique requirements of these fitness professionals — including the fact that their time is money — SFIC revamped the online application process to enable someone to complete the application and receive proof of coverage in about three minutes.
Once the application is completed, confirmation of coverage is immediately e-mailed to the person, including all Additional Insured Certificates. In addition, an electronic “Fitness Professional Insurance Information” card is available for immediate download onto a smartphone, enabling a fitness pro to carry proof of coverage at all times.
The redesigned online application is just one of the many ways that SFIC is advancing its products and services to cater to the fitness community.
