Crunch is opening a new location in Citrus Heights, California. The 19,876-square-foot, one-story location will be opening in January 2015.

The location will offer 75 pieces of cardio equipment, free weights, selectorized strength machines and a functional training area. In addition, the club will offer a variety of Group X classes such as Zumba and Fat Burning Pilates.

“Citrus Heights is the perfect place for this club because of its health conscious and active community,” said Mark Poll, the franchisee and owner of the Citrus Heights club, in a press release. “I have been searching the Citrus Heights market for four years and I am excited that we finally found a great spot in a great community.”

Poll said his goal is to add six more clubs in the local area in the next three to five years.

In addition to the new location, Crunch is also launching its first online workout starring the Brooklyn Nets Brooklynettes. The video will be the first in a series available on the gym’s digital platform, CrunchLive.com. It will feature three Brooklynette dancers leading a full-body workout of choreography inspired by the high intensity hip-hop showcased on center court at Barclays Center.

“We are excited to continue our partnership with the Brooklynettes and expand the availability of the original in-gym workout,” said Donna Cyrus, the senior vice president of group fitness at Crunch, in a press release. “We’re proud to be the first gym to enable a professional sports team’s dance group to cross over into fitness via an online workout. At Crunch, we pride ourselves on our unique programming, and we are thrilled to be able to provide this one-of-a-kind experience to anyone, regardless of location.”

The original Center Court Choreography class launched in December 2013 and is offered exclusively at Crunch’s location in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.
