Members crave information, oftentimes about how much they weigh, how much body fat they’re losing, etc. But providing them with the correct information isn’t always so simply accomplished. That is why Anytime Fitness in Grant Pass, Oregon, partnered with Styku, a revolutionary 3D body scanner, to provide members with the information they need to be successful. Remy Boots, the owner of Grants Pass Anytime Fitness, explains.
CS: How were you introduced to Styku, and why did you decide to partner with them?
RB: I believe I saw an ad for Styku, formally MyBodee, in your magazine or one of the other trade magazines that we all get. I also looked at Fit3D, but decided on Styku. Why? Well it seemed like both machines do similar things, but I hit it off with Raj Sareen, the co-founder of Styuku, right off the bat. It seems like we were talking the same language in that we both were looking at results of what this technology could do for my members. I believe I’ll be getting better customer service from Styku.
CS: What are the benefits to your business as a result of this partnership?
RB: Well I’m hoping that I’ll see an increase in new members due to having such technology. And with that retention, as well as an increase in personal training from current members.
CS: What are the benefits to your members as a result of this partnership?
RB: I’m hoping my current members will embrace this technology. With that, maybe my members will generate increased motivation to attain their goals of being healthy and fit. I have already had a few of my current members have a scan, and as a result they’ve become more motivated and one even signed up for training. I will be doing a campaign with the help of Styku to bring awareness of this technology to my current members.
CS: Have you been pleasantly surprised by working with Styku in any way?
RB: Surprised by working with Raj and his Styku staff, yes. They have asked me for input on a lot of their projects regarding Styku and the health industry. They have offered their services to help launch a successful campaign of introducing Styku to my members and the community. Usually you buy a piece of equipment and you’re on your own. They are going way beyond my expectations.
CS: What else can you tell other club owners about the benefits of working with Styku?
RB: Raj and his Styku team realize the benefit this technology can bring to the members of your gym. I believe we’re in this business to help people achieve their fitness and health goals.
