Barre Intensity, a barre fitness technique and instructor certification program, has launched their online video site, Barre Now, catering to the barre fitness instructor. Today, Barre Now is home to full length Barre Intensity classes and short five-minute training clips, and in early 2017, the Barre Intensity Instructor Training course and Barre Anatomy workshop will be added.
“Many online fitness subscription sites are built with the end consumer in mind. Certainly the end consumer can login to Barre Now and follow along with our class videos, but our main focus is the instructor teaching the classes,” said Stephanie Lyons, Barre Intensity president and Lead Master Trainer. “Because our certification program consists of one or two days with a Master Trainer, we realized we needed a way to continuously stay in contact with our trainees after their one-on-one time with us. We travel all across the country to teach the Barre Intensity technique and strive to provide relevant content monthly; an online platform is the only scale-able way to remain connected and deliver.”
Even those instructors who are not trained in the Barre Intensity technique can benefit from the online platform. Unlike other instructor content websites, Barre Now offers a completely open enrollment process. There are no codes needed or special access required to take advantage of the site’s content. For those who like the idea of trying before buying, a 7-day free trial is provided. Following the trial period instructors can choose their subscription plan ranging from monthly at $9.99/month, 6 month plan for $49.99 or 12 month plan for $74.99.
Almost as valuable as the videos themselves are the written choreography notes and playlists that accompany each full-length class. With Barre Now, instructors can save hours on class preparation time just by clicking “print” and “follow,” bringing choreography and music to their fingertips.
