BollyX Takes New Year Head On

BollyX, the Bollywood Workout, is looking at 2017 with wide eyes and much enthusiasm. After another successful year of training instructors and launching classes, the BollyX community has grown to over 2,000 members all across the U.S. and Canada with over 200 weekly classes. The 2017 instructor training schedule has already been released with over 100 trainings all over the country with more cities and states to come.

BollyX is a Bollywood-inspired dance-fitness program that combines dynamic choreography with the hottest music from around the world. The 50-minute cardio workout cycles between higher and lower-intensity dance sequences to get participants moving, sweating and smiling all at the same time.

In the new year, the company will be launching and presenting in more international locations including Germany and the United Kingdom. BollyX will be making its first appearance at FIBO, the biggest fitness conference in Europe. In addition to FIBO, BollyX will also be presenting around the nation at IDEA World 2017, several SCW Mania conventions, and canfitpro.

“Heading into our fourth year of the Bollywood Workout, BollyX continues to learn and grow from the best in the industry,” said national community manager, Meredith Higgins. “We can’t wait to see what new adventures 2017 will take us on!”

Additionally, BollyX will also continue to release new programming. In 2016, the company debuted BollyX LIT (Low Impact Training) – a format that contains all the energy of the original BollyX class, but without high-impact dance movements. This format was designed for individuals who love to dance and prefer or need low-impact choreography – for example, newcomers to fitness, pre- or post-natal women, participants recovering from injury, or the older active adult population.

In the coming year, BollyX will be introducing a format geared towards kids as instructors nationwide have been requesting the format.
