Continuing education is important, but you don’t necessarily have to go back to school in order to further your knowledge. Sometimes, intimate events that provide networking opportunities with peers can be just what the doctor ordered to open your mind to new concepts.
Each year, Club Solutions Magazine hosts a number of intimate events, including the Club Solutions Leadership Retreat. This year, the annual Leadership Retreat will be held at La Cantera Resort & Spa in sunny San Antonio, Texas, September 11-13, 2017.
The event brings together 40 top health club operators and 12 sponsors for two days of roundtable discussions and networking. Attendees will engage in six roundtables devoted to helping them build their health club businesses now and in the future.

- Metric Madness
- Service and Retention Initiatives
- Maximizing Personal Training Profit
- Health Clubs: The Final Frontier
Josh Bailey, the general manager of Anytime Fitness in Lafayette, Louisiana, said about last year’s Leadership Retreat: “The Club Solutions Leadership Retreat was a wonderful experience. It was an experience that I believe I needed to have, because it allowed me to get out of our clubs and look at the businesses from a bird’s eye perspective.”
This year’s Leadership Retreat will be moderated by Allison Flatley, who has been involved in the industry since 1984. Her deep conviction for creating healthy organizations and cultures is evident in her career achievements and her work hard, play hard mentality.
