Total Gym is pleased to announce Ken Pearson as its new Chief Operating Officer, effective January 15. Pearson joins Total Gym after 4 years as Director of Medical for Global Markets at Matrix Fitness, where he was instrumental in helping the company expand into new markets and triple its medical revenue.
“As Total Gym moves to the forefront of the health and wellness industry, it is crucial for us to add the best talent we can find,” said Jesse Campanaro, Total Gym CEO. “We could not have found a better candidate than Ken Pearson to drive operational excellence during this exciting time in our brand’s global growth. He brings with him a wealth of experience from two of our fastest growing markets, medical and fitness.”
Total Gym and its legendary bodyweight training equipment are literally helping millions get healthier every day. Now, distributing in over 40 countries worldwide and with functional training gaining popularity, Total Gym is poised to create an inflection point in the global health and wellness industry.
“Truthfully, what drew me to Total Gym are their products. I love them! They are functional, they are simple and they really work,” said Pearson. “As the fitness industry moves away from legacy equipment and into the functional training realm, Total Gym is facing incredible growth opportunities. The Total Gym brand is one of the strongest and most recognized brands in the world and being part of the next chapter in a winning company is a huge inspiration for me.”
Pearson brings to Total Gym 20 years in fitness industry operations, sales and marketing. Prior to that, he retired from an exemplary military career as a Royal Marine Commando. He enjoys all sporting activities, as well as spending time with his wife and son.
