World Gym International and Winfit Enterprises announced the departure of long time key executive and industry veteran, Bill Windscheif. Windscheif joined the World Gym family in the summer of 2009 and helped grow the brand for nearly nine years as the director of operations and vendor programs.
“Bill has been a champion to World Gym,” said Guy Cammilleri, the CEO of World Gym International. “Among his many valued contributions, he developed the vendor program, helped plan and execute several international franchise conventions, and provided sales, marketing, and operational support to World Gym locations. We appreciate his contributions to the brand and wish him continued success in his future endeavors.”
Going forward, World Gym is positioned for robust growth with its best-in-class digital marketing platform, new franchising model, and innovative programs such as World Gym Athletics.
Windscheif is also the president and CEO of WinFit Enterprises, a health club management and consulting firm he and his wife founded in 2005, and plans to remain in the fitness industry and pursue other endeavors.
“I’ve really enjoyed working with World Gym and its franchisees for almost a decade,” said Windscheif. “It’s been a beautiful experience for me, and I cherish the relationships I’ve made along the way. I will certainly miss World Gym and continue to value my close relationship with the Cammilleri family, but I’m also excited to explore new opportunities in the industry I love.”
