Club Solutions is pleased to announce Kevin Russell, a senior fellow at the McKinsey Global Institute (MGI), as the keynote speaker for the 2027 Club Solutions Leadership Summit, taking place May 17–19, 2027, at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar in Nassau, Bahamas.
The invitation-only Summit brings together 45 of North America’s leading health club owners, CEOs and senior executives for three days of strategic discussions, executive networking and peer-to-peer learning focused on the future of the health and fitness industry.
Russell will open the Summit with a data-driven keynote exploring the macro trends shaping the future of business and their implications for the health and fitness industry. Drawing on original research from the McKinsey Global Institute, he will examine economic and demographic shifts, an aging society and the longevity economy, technology trends reshaping industries, artificial intelligence, the downstream effects of GLP-1 medications, and the broader forces expected to influence consumer behavior and strategic decision-making over the coming decade.
“Each year, we strive to provide attendees with an executive-level perspective on the external forces that will shape their businesses for years to come,” said Rachel Chonko, the editor-in-chief of Club Solutions. “Kevin’s research at the McKinsey Global Institute will give our audience valuable insight into the macro trends reshaping business and the implications those trends have for health club leaders.”
Russell is a senior fellow at MGI, McKinsey & Company’s business and economics research arm. He leads MGI research on company growth and dynamics, competition and the tech-intensive industries at the center of the AI economy, as well as productivity in emerging economies. A frequent speaker at global conferences and executive forums, Russell helps business leaders understand the macroeconomic, demographic and technological forces shaping industries and long-term business strategy.
The keynote builds upon the Summit’s commitment to bringing world-class thought leadership to the industry’s top executives. Following a highly rated economic outlook presentation from ITR Economics at the 2026 Summit, Russell’s session will provide a complementary perspective focused on the broader societal, technological and demographic shifts influencing the future of business and their implications for health and fitness leaders.
