How were you introduced to KORR and why did you decide to partner with them?
AM: I had a doctor friend as a client who’s into holistic medicine, and he told me about the science behind metabolic breathing. I purchased my first machine in 2010, and I’ve liked the consistency of it. I decided to add it because that was where the fitness industry is going. If you come in and you’ve had stents and heart disease in your health history, when we do a VO2 max test on you, it’s not just about trying to reach your VO2 max, it’s about understanding where your aerobic threshold is, so you can actually build the capillaries and things like that. What do your members love most about KORR?
AM: They love the science, the numbers and the feedback. They know if they’ve been off track, they see the numbers and it gives them the feedback. There’s no one only telling them they’re doing good and it’s going to get better in two weeks — it literally gives you true, accurate feedback. It’s the truth.
