Why UPshow is the Real Deal for Anytime Fitness

Leveraging social media to create avid fans is critical for success in today’s digital age. UPshow allows clubs to use their already-existing TV screens to share members’ social media posts and help them build a community, which is the ultimate customer engagement tool.

Here, Nathan Jespersen, owner of four Anytime Fitness locations, shares how UPshow’s excellent product and customer service turned them into an important partner:

How were you introduced to UPshow, and why did you decide to work with them?

NJ: I received an email about the platform, and decided to learn more.

What are the benefits to your business as a result of this partnership?

NJ: There are several benefits:

  1. It turns the TV into a place to market our internal club promotions and events.
  2. It allows us to show our customers who we are, especially those who come after busy hours.
  3. We can use it as an advertising platform to make money.

What are the benefits to your members as a result of this partnership?

NJ: It engages customers in our social community, which is huge for helping their personal fitness journey. It gives something for the customers to watch while they get ready for their workout or get ready to leave. They also get great info on upcoming events, promotions and activities to help them stay more active with our facility, and get better results.

Have you been pleasantly surprised by working with UPshow in any way?

NJ: The service is great — they really care about the customer.

What else can you tell other club owners about the benefits of working with UPshow?

NJ: I just want to highlight the staff at UPshow — they are what really won me over. They wanted to know everything about our business. David O’Ryan even took time to read the Anytime Fitness “Love Work” book, and was able to recite very specific parts in it. At Anytime Fitness, we’re believers in human capital, and I think these guys are the real deal.
