Club Solutions Mastermind Groups Division: Bob Surface Joins as SVP

Club Solutions announces the launch of the Club Solutions Mastermind Groups division — Bob Surface joins as SVP.

For 18 years, Club Solutions has been serving the fitness industry by providing best practice business resources that educate and empower health club professionals to succeed. As we near 2021, we are thrilled to announce a new offering for health club professionals: Club Solutions Mastermind Groups for all health club management levels.

“Taking a page out of our industry events, where roundtable, peer-to-peer meetings with industry leaders are paramount to success, we decided the best way to provide more best practice business education to health club professionals would be to create Club Solutions Mastermind Groups,” said Shawn McDonald, the publisher and co-founder of Club Solutions and Peake Media. “We believe that every health club professional in a leadership role should be in a peer-to-peer success group learning from the best and solving real-time challenges to better their businesses.”

The groups are part of a new division of Club Solutions that will be led by Bob Surface in the role of SVP of Club Solutions Mastermind Groups. Surface has an extensive, 25-year background in the fitness industry, including as a club owner and operator, and most recently, VP of sales for ABC Fitness Solutions. He also currently owns a health club with his wife, Holly Surface.

“Bob and I have become great friends over the years, and I am so grateful for him wanting the opportunity to partner with us and head up this new business division within our company,” said McDonald.

Club Solutions Mastermind Groups are peer-to-peer groups for health club professionals. Groups will meet twice a month virtually and will be limited to a maximum of 10 members per group. A facilitator will moderate discussions and content in each group. Group members will work to help solve business challenges, share best practices and hold each member accountable to success.
