Courtney Gordon, a co-owner of The Zone/EPOC Salem and The Zone/EPOC Greenville shares how clubs can build a strong community with Myzone.

Wearable technology has been in the top three of ACSM’s Fitness Trends list since it was first introduced on the survey since 2016. The trend has continued to gain momentum and has led many clubs to try to find ways to incorporate them into their facilities.

When Eric Hobbie and Courtney Gordon, co-owners of The Zone/EPOC Salem in Salem, Illinois, and The Zone/EPOC Greenville in Greenville, Illinois, were looking to incorporate heart rate-based group fitness within their facilities, they turned to Myzone.

Partnering with Myzone allowed them to bring fun into their facilities, help their members stay connected, organize challenges and create their own community. Below, Gordon shares more on how beneficial their partnership with Myzone has been for their members and their facilities.

Myzone

How has Myzone helped improve your fitness class offerings?

Myzone has helped improve our fitness class offerings by helping us build a strong community within our facilities. Offering Myzone technology in our gyms has added an additional way for our members to stay connected and motivate each other.

What do your members like about Myzone?

Our members love how Myzone rewards works and how it motivates them to keep coming back to class. They love reaching new Myzone statuses and earning Myzone Effort Points (MEPs) every workout.

How would you describe Myzone’s customer support?

Myzone customer support is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The support team even takes our feedback and ideas seriously to constantly improve their products.

Why should other club operators consider working with Myzone?

The Myzone technology and the way it is displayed throughout group fitness classes adds that professionalism and branding capability to your group classes. We highly recommend Myzone for all fitness facilities.
