GymRevenue, an all-in-one fitness club management software, announced the addition of Jennifer Calovich as their new vice president of client relations. Calovich, who served as LeadDolphin’s director of customer success from 2015 to 2018 and later as the key account success manager for Club OS after they acquired LeadDolphin, brings 20-plus years experience in executive leadership, business and product development, team development, and operations in the fitness industry.
“Understanding complete club business operations first has really helped me to understand the operators perspective as well as their tech needs and aligning to implement them,” said Calovich. “Also, working with customers in the tech space for so long, I know the pain points first hand that these operators are currently facing.”
Working with GymRevenues’ product, operations and customer relations teams, Calovich will drive forward customer success initiatives as well as help scale GymRevenues’ operations in tandem with their rapid growth. GymRevenue is poised to raise the bar within the fitness tech industry with a commitment to providing reliable, seamless and client-focused club management software. Calovich will oversee the client relations team at the company, lending guidance from her experience in leading fitness tech companies to scaled growth.
“Adding Jen is an important next step that aligns with our business goals,” said Alec Salzman, the CEO of GymRevenue. “We are growing rapidly and bringing Jen onto the team is more important than ever. Her experience is unparalleled and she will be a great asset in our continued mission — providing our customers and clients with the tools they need to be the most successful.”
Calovich’s arrival comes on the heels of 24 months of extensive user research, UX and UI testing, and extensive field testing in various clubs, markets, and business models. Both moves reflect the company’s rapid growth trajectory and GymRevenues’ client-first technology approach.
“The software had been built for about a year prior to user-testing,” said Salzman. “The most important aspect for us was that operators would be able to use it in real-time. Almost 100 industry executives, club owners, operators and staff tested and gave us really amazing feedback. So when we say GymRevenue is designed and built by fitness owners and operators for fitness owners and operators, we really mean it.” says Alec Salzman.
GymRevenue, which serves hundreds of fitness and athletic clubs, has managed to grow and expand in a time when athletic clubs are downsizing and struggling to maintain their customer base in the face of unprecedented challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic and a fiercely competitive operating space. With a streamlined club management solution, GymRevenue sets out to help fitness industry operators streamline their business operations while cutting down on overhead and multiple platform inefficiencies.
