With an illustrious 28-year career in the fitness industry, Messina brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role.
Beginning his journey as a personal trainer, Messina quickly made a name for himself through his dedication and passion for helping individuals achieve their fitness goals. Over the years, he has assumed various positions, further honing his skills and knowledge in the industry.
Before joining Genesis Health Clubs, Messina held the esteemed position of vice president at Town Sports International LLC (TSI) and its parent company. He oversaw all facets of sales, fitness and operations across 196 clubs spread across nine states, Puerto Rico and Switzerland. Messina played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s market presence and portfolio, spearheading numerous new club openings and facilitating the acquisition of more than 30 clubs during his impressive 15-year tenure with TSI.
Messina’s exceptional leadership skills, strategic mindset and deep understanding of the fitness industry make him an invaluable addition to the Genesis Health Clubs team.
