Inc., the leading media brand and playbook for the entrepreneurs and business leaders shaping our future, has announced that Crunch Fitness, Stretch Zone, Fitness Ventures and CR Fitness Holdings have been named to the 2025 Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America.
The list offers a data-driven snapshot of the most successful companies within the economy’s most dynamic segment — its independent, entrepreneurial businesses. Past honorees include Microsoft, Meta, Chobani, Under Armour, Timberland, Oracle, and Patagonia.
“We’re proud to receive Inc.’s recognition as one of the fastest-growing private companies in America,” said Jim Rowley, the CEO of Crunch Fitness. “It’s a testament to the commitment and success of our franchisees, industry-leading corporate team, the team members at our gyms and our millions of loyal members. Crunch is a strong and resilient brand, one that franchisees around the globe are proud to be a part of.”
Crunch Fitness, ranked No. 4,022 in 2025 with a three-year revenue growth of 90%, has seen a 48% increase in its total number of gyms and a 79% rise in membership over the last three years. The brand recently launched Crunch 3.0, reached the three-million-member milestone, expanded its franchise footprint to 500 gyms worldwide, and announced its entry into India.
Fitness Ventures, one of the fastest-growing and top-performing franchisees in the Crunch Fitness system, also ranked at No. 1,676 with 261% three-year growth. Fitness Ventures is a private equity-backed operator of 70 fitness centers in 28 states with a goal of expanding its footprint. The company has also ranked No. 1,473 (2024) and No. 2,476 (2023).
Another leading franchisee of Crunch Fitness, CR Fitness Holdings, LLC, ranked No. 2,537 in 2025 with 166% three-year growth. The franchise is primarily operating in Florida, Texas, Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee. The company previously ranked No. 1997 in 2024 and continues to be a growth driver within the Crunch network.
Stretch Zone ranked No. 4,424 on the 2025 list with 74% three-year growth. The brand has previously ranked No. 1,166 (2024), No. 1,536 (2023), No. 1,793 (2022), and No. 656 (2020). With more than 400 locations nationwide and zero studio failures to date, Stretch Zone has pioneered the science-backed practice of practitioner-assisted stretching. In 2025, the company introduced Systemwide Access — a first-of-its-kind member benefit allowing clients to stretch at any location nationwide — reinforcing its focus on convenience, consistency and community.
“Being ranked in the Inc. 5000 list is a reflection of the hard work our team and franchisees put in every day to bring the benefits of practitioner-assisted stretching to communities across the country,” said Tony Zaccario, the CEO of Stretch Zone. “As demand for wellness services continues to grow, this recognition reinforces that our unique approach is resonating and making a meaningful impact in people’s lives.”
This year’s Inc. 5000 honorees have demonstrated exceptional growth while navigating economic uncertainty, inflationary pressures and a fluctuating labor market. Among the top 500 companies, the median three-year revenue growth rate reached 1,552%, with a collective addition of more than 48,678 jobs to the U.S. economy.
“Making the Inc. 5000 is always a remarkable achievement, but earning a spot this year speaks volumes about a company’s tenacity and clarity of vision,” said Mike Hofman, the editor-in-chief of Inc. “These businesses have thrived amid rising costs, shifting global dynamics and constant change. They didn’t just weather the storm — they grew through it, and their stories are a powerful reminder that the entrepreneurial spirit is the engine of the U.S. economy.”
Inc. will celebrate the honorees at the 2025 Inc. 5000 Conference & Gala, October 22–24 in Phoenix, Arizona. The top 500 companies will also be featured in the Fall issue of Inc. magazine.
