Retro Fitness has appointed Greg Pfohl to senior vice president of operations, a move the brand says will further elevate operational performance and support continued growth across its national footprint.
In his new role, Pfohl will oversee all aspects of operational strategy and field execution across the Retro Fitness system. His responsibilities include refining club-level processes, enhancing franchisee support and aligning day-to-day operations with the brand’s long-term development and expansion goals.
“Greg has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, strategic insight and a deep commitment to our organization’s values,” said Todd Scartozzi, the chief operating officer at Retro Fitness, in a statement. “His promotion to Senior Vice President of Operations reflects his contributions to date and our confidence in the impact he will continue to make in this expanded role.”
Pfohl brings more than 15 years of experience with Retro Fitness to the position, having advanced through the organization from general manager to vice president of operations. During his tenure, he has played a key role in expanding the Franchise Business Coach program, supporting the integration of personal training into the brand’s operating model and implementing performance initiatives that drove measurable systemwide results.
According to the company, Pfohl’s efforts contributed to a 50 percent increase in membership tier conversions and the establishment of new operational standards through enhanced club reviews, voice-of-the-customer programs and improved labor and performance processes.
“After more than 15 years with Retro Fitness, I’m as energized as ever to help drive the next chapter of the brand’s growth,” said Pfohl, in a statement. “My focus remains exactly what it’s been since day one – strengthening execution, aligning the right resources, and supporting our franchisees so they can reach their full operational potential as we continue to expand.”
