Those looking to take one of Crunch Fitness’ signature group exercise classes now have that ability — even if they’re not a member, or there isn’t a physical Crunch Fitness location nearby.
On October 9, 2013, Crunch Fitness officially launched “Crunch Live,” an online fitness portal that has brought many of Crunch Fitness’ group exercise classes to the web.
“The fitness industry cannot ignore the impact that social media and digital information has played in our lives, and being that Crunch is known for our innovative classes, we are excited to be the first national gym chain to introduce such a program,” said Donna Cyrus, the VP of programming for Crunch Fitness.
A Crunch Live subscription costs $9.99 per month for both members and non-members, and gives subscribers unlimited access to a number of innovative classes led by Crunch Fitness instructors, such as DIESEL, Yoga Body Sculpt and Fat Burning Pilates.
In addition, subscribers will have the ability to mark their favorite videos, create customized lists and post completed workouts to their social media pages. To keep users engaged, Crunch Fitness will look to continually add new classes and update the online video library with new content.
According to Cyrus, Crunch Live will elevate the group exercise experience for both members and non-members alike.
To replicate the feeling of being in a live Crunch Fitness class, Crunch Live videos feature real Crunch Fitness members as background participants. “We were hoping to replicate the feeling that people get in Crunch classes — the energy and inclusiveness that Crunch is known for,” explained Christina DeGuardi, the SVP of marketing, branding and communications for Crunch Fitness. “Plus, I think many of our instructors are incredibly proud of the loyal members who they see in their classes week in and week out, and I think they really wanted to share their Crunch Live experience with them too.”
A free, week trial of Crunch Live is currently being offered, and interested subscribers can visit www.CrunchLive.com for more information.
