In 2015, Club Solutions Magazine set out to create a platform in which to connect its audience to one another in an intimate learning environment. The result was the annual Club Solutions Leadership Retreat, an exclusive peer collaboration event that brings together 50 health club operators for two days of roundtable discussions, networking and unique experiences.
“The Club Solutions Leadership Retreat is a fixture on my calendar because it presents a great learning opportunity each year,” said Greg Lyons, the vice president of corporate development for ACAC Fitness & Wellness Centers. “The ability to spend time with diverse operators and vendors from around the country allows you to see the industry from different angles. The roundtable format allows for meaningful discussions and the chance to build connections with other club leaders.”
The 2018 Club Solutions Leadership Retreat will take place September 5-7 at The Breakers Resort in Palm Beach, Florida. During the event, attendees and sponsors will participate in six roundtables designed to help operators better position their clubs for the future, including: “Technology — The Changing Landscape of Fitness,” “Leading from the Top Down,” “Mapping the Member Journey,” “Maximizing PT & SGT Profits,” “Social Media Marketing” and “Strategic Planning for the Year Ahead.”
Of course, the event isn’t all work and no play. Fun networking activities include a Dessert Challenge led by a local baker, Palm Beach Olympics event and a Luau dinner party.
Each of these activities will be heightened by the backdrop of The Breakers Resort, a AAA Five Diamond Hotel boasting two championship golf courses, private oceanfront, a spa, four pools, a 6,000-square-foot indoor-outdoor Ocean Fitness Center, nine restaurants and 11 renowned on-site shopping boutiques.
