When was the last time your club did something for a charity, such as a blood drive, or during breast cancer awareness month? For example, did you give $1.00 for everyone that wears pink to the club? Being philanthropic doesn’t have to cost you a lot of money. You don’t have to go out and donate just a check to a charity, the key is to get your members involved in the donation process as well. You could do a can drive for the local food bank. For example, for every can that a member brings into the club, you will match it. I believe people like to patronize businesses that give back to the community that they’re a part of. I would recommend doing something every month for a different charity. This will show members you’re invested in the community, and help with retention.
