In an effort to expand their brand across the New York Metro area, Chelsea Piers Fitness just signed a lease with TF Cornerstone for a new location.
The new club reflects Chelsea Piers Fitness’ goal of developing community-driven wellness destinations in high-demand neighborhoods.
“At Chelsea Piers Fitness, our growth starts with quality — the right neighborhood, the right space, the right partners,” said COO Sam Bernstein, in a statement.
The 47,000-square-foot location will be located on the corner of two of Manhattan’s most prominent streets, allowing easy access for several city-goers and will reinforce the brand’s presence in the city.
Chelsea Piers Fitness has been a part of New York’s fitness scene for over 30 years with five locations, even branching into Connecticut.
Each location is intentionally designed to fit right in with the neighborhood it’s located in, while also maintaining the feel of a Chelsea Piers Fitness center. Their goal? To foster connection, movement and community through world-class training, recovery and social spaces. Their member-centric philosophy creates a welcoming environment that supports members of all levels of fitness.
“This location marks another milestone in our disciplined expansion strategy as we continue to strengthen our presence across the tri-state area,” said Bernstein.
This is the brand’s third partnership with TFC, as both have focused on creating environments that meet the evolving needs of New Yorkers in their fitness journeys and lives.
“[This location] represents an exceptional opportunity to bring a premier wellness experience to the base of our latest conversion project that further contributes to the energy of this desirable area of the city,” said TFC’s vice president of retail leasing, Steve Gonzales, in a statement.
This is just one of the many projects Chelsea Piers Fitness is working on in 2026 as part of its next growth chapter. In October, the brand announced it would be bringing its first location to New Jersey at Jersey City’s Arts + Powerhouse Building.
