Gold’s Gym India announced its plans to open 30 clubs in India this year. Gold’s Gym India currently has over 70 clubs open and operating across more than 38 cities. The company plans to target cities about the size of Allahabad, Bhavnagar and Dehradun for the expansion.
Plans are also in place to launch a Gold’s Gym Platinum club this year. The first 30,000-square-foot club will open at One North in Hadapsar, Pune. Gold’s Gym India is currently funding the expansion through internal accruals and bank funding.
