CR Fitness Holdings, a large and fast-growing franchise group within Crunch Fitness, has surpassed 1 million members nationwide — a milestone that underscores both the company’s rapid expansion and the continued momentum of the Crunch brand overall.
The achievement contributes to Crunch Fitness’ global membership base of more than 3 million members and signals strong demand for the brand’s high-value, inclusive approach to fitness. CR Fitness’ growth reflects a broader industry trend toward accessible, full-service health clubs that combine affordability with premium amenities and engaging programming.
“Reaching one million members is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do,” said Tony Scrimale, the CEO of CR Fitness, in a statement. “It represents millions of workouts, goals achieved and communities strengthened. We’re proud to grow alongside our members and continue expanding the Crunch experience across the country.”
CR Fitness Holdings currently operates 93 Crunch Fitness locations across Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee and Texas, with continued expansion underway in Arizona and additional markets. The franchise group is led by a veteran executive team — Vince Julien, Geoff Dyer, Tony Scrimale and Jeff Dotson — whose combined industry experience exceeds 150 years. Together, they have built CR Fitness into one of the most disciplined and performance-driven operators in the Crunch system.
At the club level, CR Fitness locations are designed to deliver a high-value experience that appeals to a wide demographic of consumers. Amenities typically include premium strength and cardio equipment, dedicated group fitness and cycling studios, the HIITZone, HydroMassage beds, dry saunas and expansive locker rooms.
Programming remains a key differentiator. Members have access to a broad mix of instructor-led classes such as BodyWeb with TRX, Zumba, Cardio Tai Box, Yoga Body Sculpt and Fat Burning Pilates, along with Crunch’s proprietary HIITZone training format. Certified personal trainers and individualized coaching further support members’ fitness goals, reinforcing the brand’s emphasis on results-driven yet approachable fitness.
As CR Fitness continues to scale, the one-million-member milestone highlights how strong unit economics, consistent execution and community-focused club environments can drive sustainable growth — even in an increasingly competitive health club landscape.
