Club Industry 2010

Club managers and owners alike have been witness to many different socioeconomic changes over the last year. In light of these changes, the Club Industry 2010 Trade Show in Chicago during Oct. 6 through Oct. 8 will be titled “Moving Forward.”

Now celebrating its 25th year, Club Industry is telling the industry that it’s time to make some changes and anticipate what could be around the corner. Exhibits at the trade show have been adjusted to make the show more time-efficient. However, the more concise time frame will not take anything away from the event’s content: exhibit hall hours have been extended and the conference will feature more than 110 seminars in 13 tracks — more than last year.

Club Industry’s free Keynote Addresses focus specifically on the business of fitness. TV personality and fitness luminary Richard Simmons, will present “Shaping a More Fit World: How to Create an Environment That Motivates,” on Thursday Oct. 7.

On Friday Oct. 8, Bill Rancic, the first winner of Donald Trump’s “The Apprentice,” will speak on “You Don’t Have to Be Corporate to Think Like an Entrepreneur.”

Club Industry 2010 promises to be a show that can help perpetuate your business “Moving Forward.” A few of the conferences that may catch your eye during the weekend should be: “Eight Numbers to Manage Your Club With,” “Advance Functional Training Program Design,” “How to Generate Club Leads and Money Using the Internet” and “Group Training Transformation: Increasing Revenue with Small Group Training.”

Bring your whole team and make sure you keep an eye out for great opportunities in leading your business into the future. -CS
