As the health and fitness industry evolves, so does the technology that can be found within it. With this in mind, Gainesville Health & Fitness recently partnered with Fit3D. The Fit3D ProScanner captures a full 360 model of a human body, then automatically extracts the most important circumference measurements, and can also access height, volume and length measurements.
Noah Hastay, an operations manager at Gainesville Health & Fitness, shared exactly how Fit3D’s technology has positively impacted the member experience.
CS: Why did you decide to partner with Fit3D?
NH: Originally, we would get Fit3D’s info newsletter sent to us, but it wasn’t until we had a calling need for it that we decided to take a deeper look at the technology Fit3D had to offer. As we began to build our revolutionary X-Force BodyFat Breakthrough program, we decided we needed a better way to truly see the physical results that our participants were achieving that was not only extremely consistent and accurate, but also fast and user friendly.
The old-school before-and-after photos along with the tape measure method took sometimes 20 to 30 minutes per person, which turns into dollars and clutters of photos to organize. The streamlined method of Fit3D’s automatic storage database system made client file management a breeze, not to mention a cool way to view your entire body in 3D.
CS: What have been the benefits of the partnership to your business?
NH: The partnership that we have developed has come with many benefits to our business. Not only has it offered a lot of value to the members going though the X-Force program, but we have also begun to use it in some of our other body transformation-based programs.
It is a tool that can differentiate your club from other competitors in your area. In addition, it saves us lots of time and money compared to previous methods of taking members measurements
CS: What have been the benefits of the partnership to your members?
NH: Our members get a very easy-to-use tool to track the progress as they go through their exercise programs. The digital interface that the member can view online allows them to see progress every step of the way by comparing each scan and their measurements. They can use their measurements for various services outside of the gym.
CS: Is there anything about working with Fit3D that pleasantly surprised you?
NH: I was definitely surprised by the personal installation and setup of their staff. They drove up to our facility as soon as the unit arrived and not only helped us put it together, but drove back up (a 2.5 hour drive) every morning at 5 a.m. for a week as we measured our first 120 people going through the program to ensure everything went smoothly. That is real customer service at its finest. Not only that, but for any question I have ever had, there tech support team is extremely responsive and helpful with making sure all systems are working flawlessly.
CS: What would you like other club owners to know about partnering with Fit3D? How could they benefit?
NH: Although this a rather new piece of technology, the company is moving very quickly to develop continuous improvements and ways to allow users to get the very most out the information that Fit3D gathers. Being a newer company means that they are very open to suggestions and ideas to make it the best it can be. I look forward to whatever comes next from Fit3D.

Hi, I manage an Anytime Fitness . What is the cost of the fit 3d?
Hi, I am interested in the cost and I have some other questions as well
The cost of the scan is $29.95. Most of the time, customers want to have at least two scans to see the ‘side-by-side’ comparison of the two scans in order to evaluate their results. For consecutive scans after the original scan, the cost is $19.95. Feel free to email me with any other questions you may have.
The cost of the unit itself varies based of the options you choose with the sales rep. On Fit3D.com, they can give you a quote.
