In a committed strategy to continue growth in Europe, Fitness On Demand (FOD) announced the opening of its new office in the United Kingdom, with a focus on maintaining a dominant market-share position as the leading virtual fitness provider. With a direct office based in London, FOD will have dedicated resources to provide local customers instant access to sales and support.
Heading those efforts in the United Kingdom will be new Strategic Account Executive, James Moffat. James comes to FOD with an extensive background in the commercial fitness industry in the UK and EMEA. Spending the last 11 years with Precor, James has been responsible for handling a number of key account businesses which have included DW Sports, EasyGym, Gold’s Gym and Virgin SA.
“Virtual is at the cutting edge of the fitness sector, and is set to explode as the next big disruptor to the industry. I am very excited to be joining Fitness On Demand, the market leader in the category at such a pivotal time for the industry,” stated Moffat. “Operators are continually striving to attract and retain members in a hugely competitive marketplace, where customers demand instant access and convenience, married with an exceptional brand experience. Fitness On Demand can offer a solution to both operator and customer for all of these things and more.”
“Considering our growth in Europe, the decision to add a regional office was a requirement in order to continue to provide the level of service that is central to our brand identity,” added Fitness On Demand vice president Garrett Marshall. “We are thrilled to add James Moffat to our team and believe that his industry knowledge and experience will only encourage this growth trend.”
