The Gold’s Gym family of gyms is growing. This week, the company announced it had signed franchise agreements to open nine additional gyms in the U.S. In addition, the fitness brand has 23 additional locations under development in 12 countries internationally.

The news comes at the end of Q1, in which Gold’s Gym opened 17 new locations both domestically and internationally, bringing the total number of Gold’s Gyms to 737.

“2017 is off to a strong start as we continue to focus on expansion, innovation and delivering a one-of-a-kind member experience across the globe,” said Brandon Bean, the CEO of Gold’s Gym, in a statement. “Franchisees continue to be attracted to our state-of-the art facilities, experienced support team and strong brand recognition around the world as the best fitness experience in the business.”

According to Gold’s Gym, the brand is executing an aggressive expansion plan, and is on track to open over 45 new gyms by the end of 2017.

In addition to new locations, Gold’s Gym also announced new program offerings. GOLD’S STUDIO offerings allows members to have a coach-led, boutique-like experience, and include classes like GOLD’SFIT, GOLD’SCYCLE and GOLD’SBURN.

Currently, GOLD’S STUDIO classes can be found in 40 locations, and the company plans to develop additional GOLD’S STUDIOS over the next 18 months.
