The Bay Club Company announced it will acquire five properties, which currently operate under the ClubSport brand, from Leisure Sports, Inc.
Bay Club will acquire ClubSport properties in Walnut Creek, Danville, Pleasanton and Fremont, California, in addition to a location in Portland, Oregon. The properties will be operated by Bay Club and eventually convert to the Bay Club brand name.

The acquisition of the Portland club specifically marks Bay Club’s first foray outside of California. The company now boasts 26 properties with campuses in the Marin, San Francisco, East Bay, Peninsula, Silicon Valley, San Jose, Los Angeles, San Diego and Portland markets.
Leisure Sports, Inc. will continue to own and operate its Renaissance ClubSport location in Aliso Viejo, California. In addition, it will continue the roll-out of two concepts, Formula3 and REV32, and are developing a social club in San Jose, California.
In addition to acquiring five properties, Bay Club has also entered into a development relationship with Leisure Sports, Inc. for future opportunities.
