Here, Krista Youngberg, the facility manager of GreatLIFE Golf and Fitness Club, shares how Club Automation has continuously exceeded expectations at her club, and improved various aspects of their operations and member engagement:

How were you introduced to Club Automation and why did you decide to partner with them? 

KY: One of the first clubs we acquired had been using Club Automation for its tennis program. After about six months, it became apparent that in order for us to grow, we would need to find a software system that could do everything we needed. At the time, it didn’t exist. When we talked with Club Automation, they took time to understand what our needs were, and put together a plan for how they could help us grow and consolidate down to a primary system that everything ran off of. We chose to partner with Club Automation because they were the best to work with, and seemed to know and understand our needs as we brought them up and, most importantly, they were able to offer solutions to many of the issues we brought to the table.

What features of Club Automation’s software have provided the most benefits to your business?

KY: The best benefits have come from the automatic billing of our memberships. We are able to set rules the way we would like based on our members, and the system is able to follow it.

Why is it so important to have such a reliable software partner?

KY: We run everything in our club through Club Automation. Our group fitness classes, personal training, memberships, tennis, swimming, programs, merchandise, bowling and golf, etc. We have many different amenities, and Club Automation is able to grow with us. We need to be able to communicate with our members and provide them the best service possible.

How would you describe Club Automation’s customer service?

KY: Customer service is very important to us. They understand how our business works and invest in getting to know us. They are readily available, and able to answer questions and provide helpful feedback.
