VASA Fitness Announces 13 New Locations

On February 18, VASA Fitness announced its expansion plan for 2020, which includes adding 13 new locations, a projected 30% increase.

Part of this expansion includes adding clubs in the states of Wisconsin and Illinois for the first time. In December 2019, VASA expanded to Indiana for the first-time, adding locations in Layfette and Indianapolis, and has no plans of slowing down.

The new locations to open in 2020 include Herriman, Utah; Logan, Utah; Westminster, Colorado; Indianapolis, Indiana; New Berlin, Wisconsin; and Villa Park, Illinois; Joliet, Illinois; and Arlington Heights, Illinois. VASA plans on announcing additional locations later this year.

VASA currently serves more than 400,000 members throughout its 45 high-value, low-price (HVLP) locations. The brand boasts clubs in Colorado, Utah, Oklahoma, Arizona, Kansas and Indiana.

“VASA’s goal is to build communities around accessible fitness in all areas where we operate and we do extensive research about the local community before deciding to open a new location,” said Troy Peterson, the chief development officer at VASA, in a statement. “We are excited to strengthen our presence in territories where we currently operate and introduce our premium fitness brand in new states like Wisconsin and Illinois, where we believe our culture aligns very well with those communities.”

VASA’s 2020 expansion plan is another step in helping the company bring its innovative and affordable fitness to everyone by rapidly increasing its presence over the next five years. Each club is designed to meet members wherever they are at in their fitness journey.

Each VASA location includes Group X classes, Studio Red (high intensity interval training), Studio Cycle, a training cage, functional training areas, a free weights area, Olympic lifting, and a large lap pool. In addition, members can enjoy the HydroMassage lounge, retail area, basketball court, spa, steam room, sauna and KidCare services for $15 per month for up to 90 minutes a day.

VASA is hiring team members for new locations opening in 2020.
