Monetize your content and engage your member base. It is one way to grow your member base today when many potential members want to be fit and yet haven’t yet taken that step of engaging with a fitness center.

The new habit of finding content online provides a great opportunity for club owners to create subscription services that entice more people in the broader community to think about their health.

Adapting to the changing environment created by this COVID-19 pandemic isn’t easy, but for those operators that do, they will see benefits over the long term. Not only will they engage with more potential customers, they will be seen to provide their customers with the best content.

Finding ways to create new and inviting content and making it available online gives your trainers the opportunity to showcase differences in what they do. Something to entice prospects.

Making material available through a small monthly subscription that is available on demand is likely to be seen as providing a great service to those looking for readily available health and fitness routines.

The idea is to put yourself in the shoes of those people scared of entering a fitness center, yet wanting to become more fit and healthy. What would they want to support losing weight or gaining muscle? 

These same clients may be looking for more relaxing options. The development of regular class content available through a subscription service can showcase a centers expertise.

Monetize your programs by providing an online subscription option to one or two regular classes a week, provided via a video channel. Offering these classes after working hours, or early in the morning work for busy business people.

Set up online class options for moms who have young babies and can’t get to the gym. These moms may have been regular fitness center attendees prior to having their baby. Providing a subscription option to online classes allows these moms the ability to take a class when they have the time. 

Plan your approach to reviewing how you would monetize your classes and services into online memberships or subscription services in 2022. That way you can generate a program that is flexible and targets specific potential members.
