Founded in 2010, The Camp Transformation Center (The Camp) has grown to nearly 150 locations in more than a dozen states.
“We grew to a point where we knew we needed a reliable partner that could provide the equipment and guidance for our franchise partners,” said Alejandra Font, a co-founder and co-CEO of The Camp.
That led her to Matrix Fitness.
Here, she shares more about the growth of the business, why they decided to partner with Matrix and what their members love about the equipment.
How does a transformation center differ from a traditional gym?
The Camp differs from other gyms in that we have identified a need and niche in the fitness space that other national brands have not focused on. We specialize in weight loss transformations. We understand that weight loss is not just a physical activity, but requires a lot of dedication, commitment, support and heart.
Describe the evolution of The Camp since its inception.
The Camp has changed a lot since we started in 2010, but what remains the same is our unwavering desire to help people reach a physical transformation that translates to improvements in all areas of their life.
How does it feel to be an integral part of that growth?
It feels great to have purpose and meaning in what you do and that has been the center stone of The Camp since its inception.
How has a partnership with Matrix been beneficial during this growth?
After seeing the quality of their products, the ability to add our logo, reasonable price points, amazing customer service and their ability to service us anywhere we open a location, we knew it was a partnership worth cultivating. In our last year with Matrix, they have already equipped 15 of our locations and we have additional 10 location orders currently in production.
Why should other gym operators consider working with Matrix?
Gym operators interested in leveling up the appearance of their facility will benefit from the level of quality of the Matrix pieces. Not only is the quality excellent, their service and ability to facilitate financing of the equipment is very helpful as a business owner.
What do your members love about your Matrix equipment?
Our members feel a lot of pride with so much of our equipment displaying our logo. They can also see the high level of quality and that shows we care and are willing to invest in our facilities.
