CR Fitness Holdings is opening three Crunch Fitness locations this week in Georgia and Texas, expanding its presence in the Atlanta and Dallas-Fort Worth markets.
In Texas, Southwest Fitness Holdings LLC, a subsidiary of CR Fitness Holdings, is opening Crunch Garland, its 15th location in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The new 34,589-square-foot facility represents a $5 million investment and will introduce Crunch’s 3.0 club experience to the community.
Crunch Garland will feature cardio and strength equipment, Olympic squat racks, an Abs & Glutes room, a Ride Cycle studio, performance turf and the HIITZone for interval training. Additional amenities include contrast therapy with an infrared sauna and Frost Locker, group fitness classes, a hot studio for yoga and Pilates, boxing classes, HydroMassage, tanning and locker rooms with saunas and a steam room.
The club will open for workouts Thursday, October 15, at 5 a.m., ahead of a grand opening celebration Saturday, October 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will include group fitness demonstrations, personal training specials, food, prizes, promotions and local vendors.
“We are proud to be launching our Crunch Garland location for the Dallas-Fort Worth community,” said Tony Scrimale, the CEO of CR Fitness Holdings. “With premium amenities, top-tier equipment and dynamic group fitness programming, this club will bring something special to the community.”
The new location is expected to create more than 70 local jobs across personal training, group fitness, sales, operations, member services and club leadership.
Five additional Crunch locations are planned for the Dallas-Fort Worth area: Benbrook, Burleson, Golden Triangle, McKinney North and Rayzor Ranch. Once those locations open, Southwest Fitness Holdings will operate 20 Crunch locations in the market.
In Georgia, Blue Ridge Fitness Holdings LLC, another CR Fitness Holdings subsidiary, is preparing to open Crunch Newnan and Crunch Stone Mountain. The clubs will be the franchise group’s 16th and 17th locations in the greater Atlanta area, respectively, and will feature Crunch’s 3.0 club experience.
“We’re proud to expand our Atlanta footprint with Crunch Newnan and Crunch Stone Mountain,” said Scrimale. “Atlanta has a strong, active community, and we look forward to delivering a high-energy, welcoming gym where everyone feels supported in their fitness journey.”
Blue Ridge Fitness Holdings currently operates 24 Crunch gyms across Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee and is on track to reach 25 locations by the end of 2026. Its parent company, CR Fitness Holdings, is a leading Crunch Fitness franchise group serving more than one million members.
