UFC GYM will open a new signature gym in Orange County, California. The gym is slated to open this year in Huntington Beach, and will boast 42,000-square-feet.
“UFC GYM has consistently intersected innovative training strategies with fitness while bringing together communities where we’ve opened locations,” said Adam Sedlack, the president of UFC GYM, in a press release. “We can’t wait to showcase this gym and how we create unique workout experiences for our members with great coaches, training sessions and group classes. This will be a must-see gym for all fitness enthusiasts.”
Founded in 2009, UFC GYM has more than 135 locations throughout the U.S., Australia, Canada, South America and the United Arab Emirates.
In June 2016, UFC GYM once again partnered with UFC Hall of Famer BJ Penn to open the third UFC GYM BJ PENN signature gym in Oahu, Hawaii.
In addition, in July 2016, WME | IMG acquired UFC, the world’s premier professional mixed martial arts (MMA) organization, and now serves as UFC’s operating partner. WME | IMG now owns 50 percent of UFC GYM, with the other 50 percent being owned by New Evolution Ventures (NeV).
Offering a full-range of functional fitness classes, group and private MMA training, group fitness, personal and group dynamic performance-based training, plus MMA youth programming, UFC GYM creates training programs to fit all ages and fitness levels.
