For this customer spotlight, we sat down with David Bostik, the owner of Fit Body Bootcamp, to talk about his experiences partnering with Myzone:
Why did you decide to partner with Myzone over other technology companies?
DB: We decided to partner with Myzone because we were looking for a system that could provide additional accountability for our members, and Myzone came highly recommended. We chose Myzone over other technology companies because the app is easy to maneuver. In addition, we like the capability to use the heart rate monitors outside the facility, as well as the USB charging of the Mz3s.
What have been the biggest benefits of this partnership to your business?
DB: The biggest benefit of the partnership to our business is retention. Coaches are able to monitor clients’ activity levels throughout the workout and make adjustments accordingly. It has also helped with retention and even bringing in new members.

DB: The benefits of heart rate tracking to our members is awareness of how hard they are working. It gives our competitive members something to strive toward, and makes members more aware of how much effort they’re putting forth.
What are some best practices you can share for implementing this technology?
DB: Some of the best practices for implementing this technology are incorporating it into all new member orientations and even running challenges designed around it, where the cost of the monitor is built in.
