TRX, the global leader in functional training and education, announced its first Training Summit of 2018 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas on May 5 and 6.
Following the huge success of the previous Summits — at the Under Armour HQ in Baltimore, Maryland and the first ever International Trainer Summit in Athens, Greece — it was a logical next step for TRX to host what they’re calling their biggest and best Summit yet in Austin, Texas. In a state where everything is bigger and better, TRX continues to expand its global reach as a fitness company, bringing the industry’s top educators, instructors and coaches together to showcase the most comprehensive and interactive workshops, focused on TRX’s innovative Programming Principles. The two-day event will lay host to global fitness thought leaders, industry pioneers, fitness professionals, fitness enthusiasts and more.
“Our Summits are a unique opportunity for TRX HQ, the international cadre of course instructors, course grads and enthusiasts of TRX to get together, train, compete and learn,” said Chris Frankel, TRX head of Human Performance. “While we always do our best to bring great science and best-practices to the table, it is the ‘experience’ that is created by all the people there that makes these events so incredible.”
Since hosting its first TRX Training Summit in 2014, this event has continued to grow, providing a valuable platform for educators, trainers and coaches to share their knowledge and expertise of the ever-growing health and fitness industry. Personal trainers, fitness fanatics, TRX Master Instructors and others will enjoy a weekend of action-packed, influential and educational experiences that will impact their personal and professional lives for the better.
“Following a successful year of International Trainer Summits, in Hong Kong, France, Denmark, Czech Republic and the Middle East, it’s imperative for TRX to facilitate continued education for the thought leaders and innovators that make TRX what it is today,” said Randy Hetrick, founder and CEO of TRX. “By hosting this Summit, we’ve created a melting pot for educators, trainers, coaches and fitness enthusiasts. This is an ideal environment for sharing our TRX Training Philosophy. In bringing together the brightest minds in functional and movement-based fitness, our Training Summits have become a ‘must attend’ event for industry leaders.”
This year TRX is adding a special Business Symposium to the agenda which will take place the day before the Summit commences. For an additional purchase, the TRX Business Symposium is designed for those looking to take their business to the next level. Whether you’re a veteran studio owner looking to redefine your brand and grow your business, or you’re a rookie entrepreneur just getting started with a product concept, this session will give you the inspiration and skill-set necessary to lead a team, build your brand and run a strong, profitable business. Plus it provides you with the rare opportunity to get some 1:1 time with founder/CEO Randy Hetrick and other key business leaders of TRX. The Symposium has limited space and will take place on Friday, May 4th from 1-5pm.
