A lot of companies and organizations have made a drastic attempt to include fitness into their budgets. Many major corporations have on-site work out facilities, but a lot of the smaller companies still have to outsource fitness to local health clubs.
However, one main concern has been with companies and organizations that can’t provide funding for either one of those possibilities. In an attempt to get its employees moving, a group of teachers at the Undermountain Elementary School in Sheffield, Mass. has developed a weekly boot camp in the school’sgym.
The teachers move through 10 different workout stations that utilize exercises such as jump rope or sit-ups. Although, the exercise has been good for the local teachers, it only has been a small step to get employees thinking healthy. Many fitness clubs have created boot camp classes that meet a couple times a week or more. The small step by the teachers at Undermountain could possibly get a group of people thinking about fitness and eventually looking to further their success at local health and fitness clubs.
