Do you work out like you should? If you don’t believe in what you’re going around selling people, they’ll be able to tell. If you don’t practice what you preach, why should they? I‘ve always said if you’re in the fitness business then be in the fitness business. So try asking yourself why you would buy a membership. Are you believable? Do you look the part?

Think of all the different reasons to buy a membership, and then figure out why this particular customer would want one. If you ask them they will tell you. You’ll not only find that the customer will want to buy, but you’ll feel great selling it to them, and not just because of your commission. You’ll know that you helped make their life just a little better, a little healthier, and maybe a little more fun. You can be a walking testimonial that health and fitness works.
