Learn Something New About A Member Every Day

What do you know about your members? Do you know who their favorite football team is? Do you know what kind of car they drive? I challenge my staff to learn one new thing about a member every day; whether it’s the kind of car they drive, their kids’ names, their favorite college football team. Now imagine a Monday afternoon, a member you know likes the Dallas Cowboys and the Cowboys just won the Super Bowl that Sunday. How powerful is it to say, “Jim, your Cowboys did great last night!” Or imagine a member you know has a white Ford F250 Truck and one day he drives up in a new red Chevy Truck, as he walks in the door, you say, “Jim, you get a new truck?” Think of how powerful it is to know the small things about your members. They will appreciate that you took the time to learn these things about them.
