24 Hour Fitness Offers Free Workouts to Military for Veterans Day
Share on FacebookShare on LinkedIn

In honor of Veterans Day, 24 Hour Fitness has invited all active, reserve and retired military members and guests to enjoy complimentary workouts at any of its clubs nationwide, during the week of November 11-17.

To take advantage of the free workout week, current and former members of the military must present valid military identification or a DD214 Discharge document.

“Veterans Day provides us with an opportunity to express our gratitude to the U.S. armed forces and their families for the commitment and sacrifices they make each and every day for our country,” said Carl Liebert, the president and CEO of 24 Hour Fitness. “As a former Naval officer, I personally know the critical role fitness plays in the safety and success of our nation’s armed forces and we’re proud to open our doors and honor these incredible individuals each year.”

24 Hour Fitness was recently named one of the “Top 100 Military-Friendly Employers®” of 2012 by G.I. Jobs magazine, for its commitment to recruiting and hiring U.S. service members who enter the workforce each year. In addition, 24 Hour Fitness was named one of the “Top 20 Military Spouse Friendly Employers®” of 2012 by Military Spouse magazine.
