Ensuring members and training clients see results is key to not just their fitness success, but the retention of those members and clients as well. Tony Cress, a WeckMethod certified trainer, recently discussed how the WeckMethod certification and its products have aided his clients in reaching their fitness goals, and what he thinks other trainers and owners should know.

CS: How were you introduced to WeckMethod, and why did you decide to partner with them?

TC: I was introduced to WeckMethod when I went to a conference where David Weck was speaking about increasing your athletic potential without increasing effort. I was blown away by the potential benefits of what he was talking about, and definitely needed to soak up all the knowledge he had.

CS: What are the benefits to your business as a result of this partnership/using their product?

TC: All of the WeckMethod products have a place in our studio. They all serve a different purpose, from working both the dominant and non-dominant sides of the body, to fixing the position in the squat for foundational movement, to challenging your core through rotation. I help them with the workouts I come up with and they help me by creating the products, as well as introducing new and fresh ways to use them.

CS: What are the benefits to your members as a result of this partnership/using their product?

TC: Our members have found the benefits of using WeckMethod from becoming a better athlete, to the intricate expression of the hands and wrists, to fat loss, to increased strength on the ground. A lot of the members have found their squats and other foundational movements become stronger by training with WeckMethod.

CS: Have you been pleasantly surprised by working with WeckMethod in any way?

TC: I can’t say I’ve been pleasantly surprised, because I knew after going to that seminar a few years ago, this was next-level information and training techniques. It’s just really cool to see it in action.

CS: What else can you tell other club owners about the benefits of working with WeckMethod and offering their product?

TC: I think the one thing to take home from WeckMethod is that with intention, their training methods work. You will become better, fundamentally, at movement. This enables your members and clients to become stronger and faster, lose more fat, and whatever else their goals may be.
