As more consumers are seeking a boutique fitness environment, small group training is continuing to grow in popularity. TRIBE Team Training makes it easier than ever for clubs to engage members with a wide variety of intense but rewarding workouts.
Here, Adrian Antigua, the general manager of Gainesville Health & Fitness shares his experience working with TRIBE and the difference they’ve made the club’s workout programs:
How were you introduced to TRIBE Team Training and why did you decide to partner with them?
AA: We found out about TRIBE during an IHRSA conference almost four years ago. During that time we were constantly working on developing and creating our own small group programming, but noticed we were experiencing a lot of the struggles many other clubs have that include: trainer consistency from class to class, keeping clients excited and looking forward to new programming, developing the programming in a timely fashion and many other things. TRIBE provided a solution for all of those issues for us and more ever since.
How has TRIBE benefitted your business?
AA: TRIBE makes it easy for businesses in the sense that they remove a lot of the common barriers clubs have when trying to create small group training on their own. Things like what music to play, what exercises should be done today, what exercises can be regressed or progressed, and so forth are all provided by TRIBE.
Why is it so important to offer such a results-driven small group training program to members?
AA: As multipurpose clubs are facing the challenge of keeping members in their clubs rather than going to smaller boutique studios, TRIBE allows for clubs to create that same boutique experience within their own clubs. More importantly, TRIBE allows for people to work and create their own tribes within their club. The camaraderie and accountability that develops amongst the TRIBE participants and the coaches is what keeps people coming back to the program.
How would you describe TRIBE’s customer support?
AA: TRIBE’s customer support has been nothing short of fantastic. J.P, the president of TRIBE Team Training of North America is always gracious to answer any questions or challenges we have. They are very hands-on and truly care about the success of our program. TRIBE has also done a great job creating a community of TRIBE coaches and managers to help each other out with common barriers we may be facing.
Why should other club operators consider working with TRIBE?
AA: TRIBE really has done a fantastic job creating a packaged program that is easy to implement by your staff, that is also enjoyable and challenging for your members.
